Will ARF be in a position to accept items that can then be sold or auctioned by the Foundation?
One of the issues I've run into in selling/auctioning artwork or crafts and then donating the proceeds to ARF is that I don't have the consistent energy/brain power YET to follow through on selling.
And some would like to donate items as they cannot sell their crafts because that would be considered earning income. Under the laws of their land they cannot earn any income, even inconsistent income, while receiving disability benefits. If an item could be donated this would not be an issue.
I have done some research on how a non-profit can sell on eBay if you're interested.
'til later,
Jillian

Jillian,
The problem with this is that we need a volunteer who will be able to handle all the work setting up Ebay and handling the Auctions. Liz and I are handling the DVD shipments at the moment, and, even though we know Ebay fairly well, we couldn't add that extra responsibility. Our time is getting so short right now

| I have an idea that may be less time consuming. Amazon.com works with charities and there are many charities that post their link & graphic on their website. If you click on their link and make purchases, Amazon.com will donate part of that money to that charity. I'm sure many MP'ers do their shopping online and Christmas is just around the corner.

Plateletgal,
Can you provide me with more information or a contact person or URL at Amazon.com. I will research this a bit more, but I need a starting place. Please send me a private message.
